Sample activities for RECREATION/LEISURE & COMMUNITY SET.

1. Use RECREATION/LEISURE & COMMUNITY picture cards as a visual guide to help sequence activities to be performed.(ex: go swimming/then to the grocery store/ then home)

2. Use RECREATION/LEISURE & COMMUNITY SET picture cards as vocabulary words. Use words of favorite activities to create a vocabulary list. (ex: copy, trace and write words)

3. Use RECREATION/LEISURE & COMMUNITY SET picture cards as concept cards.(ex: How to behave in different evironments?)

4. Use RECREATION/LEISURE & COMMUNITY SET picture cards as a sequencing tool. Play "first, next, last" by lining up 3 pictures (ex. draw, numbers, puzzles) and asking the student, "What are we doing first? next? last? The student can point to,label or sign the correct answers.
